Hi everyone, welcome back to my little world ^^
For today’s post, I will write it in english as well.
Who doesn’t know this little tiny thing called “blackheads” and “whiteheads”? Most of us have either one of them, especially teenagers like me. Blackheads are tiny, dark spots on the skin. They are caused by a small plug in the opening of a follicle (pore). Blackheads are also called open comedomes. And whiteheads are blocked sweat/sebaceous ducts of the skin and known medically as a closed comedomes.
Around a week ago, I receive this product from b.liv (such an adorable name, right? b.liv = believe = be live ^^). b.liv itself is a brand by Cellnique, based in Malaysia. b.liv has a lot of skincare range, including acne, enlarged pores, sensitive skin, anti-aging, eye care, and much more.
And this is their best-selling product, called “off with those heads” blackheads sebum gel. The name really catches my attention. It says it can remove blackheads and whiteheads.
Curious with the result? Keep reading ^^
|I’m sorry if it’s unclear. Read from description below ^^
from the box :
This sebum gel extracts white and blackheads with ease, without the need to painfully squeeze.
Off With Those Heads removes white and blackheads without violence or pain, and stops them from appearing ever again. The gel softens the clogging blocking your pores, allowing for effortless extraction and removal of all sores. The packaging is nice, sleek and chic. It’s simple yet attracts attention since it has bright color as well. At first, the bottle is packed inside a silver metallic box, and the box also has plastic thingy over it (as you can see on the photos above). And it contains 30 ml.
The bottle itself is kinda transparent, and has a pump, so it’s really hygienic. And I think the name is really unique too, “Off With Those Heads”, it’s like when you’re about to kill someone. In this case, killing blackheads!
After I pressed the pump a few times, the product comes out. It’s transparent, and the texture is quite watery, not thick. So it dries pretty quick when applied and not sticky at all, which is good.
The scent is quite strong, I think it’s like a chemical-y scent. I’m not a fan of it, but I’m also not disturbed by the scent so it’s okay.
I use this after I showered and wash my face at night. I pump a pea-sized amount on my finger and rub it on my nose and chin, and also a little bit on my forehead. I found that this product works better if used alone, not combined with sunscreen, moisturizer, etc. And because of that I use this at night only, since at the morning I must use sunscreen.
When I rub it in, it feels cool, and not drying at all. I have a bit of dry patches on the tip of my nose, and this product doesn’t make it worse. Which is good! ^^
After I use this for around 2 weeks, every night, I found that there’re less whiteheads on my nose. And my pores size also look tighter than before. I still have whiteheads though, but not as much as before. I don’t really know how’s the effect with blackheads since I don’t have them, but I’m sure it will be good because… well, the name itself is blackheads sebum gel XD
As you can see from my before-after photo above, my whiteheads have lessen a bit and my pores also blurs. I’m sorry if the pictures are too close, I snap them with a macro lens just so the whiteheads are more visible.
Overall I really like this product. I recommend this for all of you, from teenagers to adults, who have problem with white/blackheads. Of course the “killing” process and time will be different for each of us since we have different skin. But it does work, and without pain and violence to our lovely noses right ^.^”
I do think this product is kinda on the pricey side, but definitely worth it since it has a lot of product, and you only need a pea-sized amount every day. It is cheaper if compared with facial every several weeks though XD

- No need to torture the nose
- Lessen whiteheads (I don’t know with blackheads, but I’m sure it will work as well)
- Does not cause more oil/sebum
- Does not cause breakouts
- Chemical-y scent, but I don’t mind since it’s not too strong

- If you live outside Asia, the shipping will be quite expensive. But they have free shipping with minimal purchase (more info, go to www.bliv.com/id)
- The price is quite high
- I think for now it’s not available in real stores. If you live in Indonesia like me, you have to buy it online. But they’re coming to Indonesia soon ^^
-Where to buy?-
You can buy “Off With Those Heads” blackheads sebum gel that I reviewed here at the official b.liv site, www.bliv.com/id
. They have a lot of skincare line, such as for acne, pores, sensitive skin, and even eye care. They also have kits, for example, blackheads kit contains a cleanser, toner, and serum, and in total will be cheaper than buying it separately. Great deal, right? ^^
And also, with minimal purchase, you can get free shipping worldwide.
